Overview of Wired Lavalier Mic (Sony ECM-44B)

This lavalier microphone is compact and lightweight, making it easy to clip onto clothing and use for long recording sessions without discomfort. They are effective when you want something concealable/small, so the person who's audio is being recorded is not focused on holding or talking into a mic.
The Sony ECM-44B delivers clear, balanced audio quality, making it well-suited for interviews, presentations, and broadcast applications.
It features an omnidirectional pickup pattern, which captures sound evenly from all directions and helps maintain consistent audio even if the speaker moves slightly.

Wired Lavalier Mic (Sony ECM-44B)

If you unscrew the mic (top piece from the bottom piece) you'll see where the battery is kept. If it is empty, insert a battery.
On one end of the mic, there is a male input.
1. Plug the male input into the recorder, and plug the other end into the mic. In some cases, this may already be attached and this step can be skipped.
The mic is equipped with a removable windsock for better sound quality.
Can be used alongside:
1. The Zoom audio recorder
2. Anything with an XLR input (i.e., most cameras in the studio, like the Sony cameras)
3. Use when recording videos! It's portable.
